A FEW months ago, travelling through Newcastle City Centre, a lovely, quaint little restaurant caught my eye – Burgerstop.

Burgerstop: A lovely little restaurant, specialising in the service of burgers, situated in the heart of Newcastle City Centre

Ever since then, I have been dying to try out this restaurant, which is situated very close to the river and all of its iconic views (Millennium Bridge, Tyne Bridge, The Baltic Centre and The Sage).

With juicy, tasty burgers catching my eye, my mouth instantly began to water – they looked amazing!

So today, after a few good hours of retail therapy at the Metro Centre, we headed to Newcastle and tried out this restaurant for the very first time.

Happily, it was exactly what I expected and more – the food was unreal!!

I decided to choose a juicy, deep fried chicken burger smothered in garlic mayonnaise and topped with melted cheese, lettuce and tomato, from the menu board. On the side I chose a portion of traditional chips and also allowed the food to settle in to my stomach, with the choice of some ice cold apple juice.

Burger, chips and juice: An unreal, mouth-watering taste

The taste was unbelievable! Without a doubt, if you’re a fan of burgers, I would definitely recommend this place to you!
