ON my very first day of the holiday, visiting Lake Como in Italy, me and my family boarded a coach trip along with several other residents from our hotel and we travelled further up North to Switzerland.
Crossing the border, a security man stood tall in order to check the identity of all drivers entering Switzerland.
Travelling down small, tight roads with countless ‘wreck-less’ drivers in sight, our coach fought its way through the outskirts of many beautiful lakes after beautiful lakes.
About forty minutes in to the journey, we arrived at our destination – Lugano.
Lugano was a beautiful town filled with Swiss shops as well as designer ones, such as: Armani, Gucci, Rolex, Louis Vuitton and many more. Each and every one of these were situated at one side of the lovely, glistening lake.
As the hours went on and the day began to pass, the sun shone brightly high above the mountain tops. Several clouds were lifted and the views became magnificent. The sweltering heat allowed us to sit on the lake side, take in all of the views and enjoy a well deserved cooling ice lolly (YUM)!
