TODAY marks the 100th anniversary of the day Britain entered in to a ‘world of terror’ – fighting daily , during the horrific event of WW1.
A truly uncounted number of people, will today remember those who fought right up until November 1918.
To this day, each and every soldiers name, who fought unbelievably to save their country, remains a resemblance of sheer history and that will never ever change!
As a result, today Britain, along with other participatory places, will come together in a ‘lights out’ project, in a hope to deeply remember the experience of WW1. Each house has received an invitation, in order to turn out all lights, in their homes, between the times of 10pm and 11pm, with the only option being one single candle burning. This will bring a massive community of people together, in order to remember this unforgettable and definitely unimaginable experience.
The project will initially show towns filled with darkness, but many hearts will be filled with memories and love.
So, tonight will you be switching off your lights? Because, I know for sure that I certainly will.
